Justin Downey is the Founder, President and self-proclaimed “Super-Nerd” at JDM Digital. Before founding JDM Digital in 2006, Mr. Downey worked for a number of small digital and graphic design agencies in the Dallas and Houston markets including The Starr Conspiracy and Graphics Marketing & Communications.
A serial entrepreneur, Mr. Downey also owns (wholly or in part) two other companies separate from JDM Digital.
Roxanna Oil Company is a Houston-based oil and gas exploration company specializing in unconventional plays, and jHost, a business-class web hosting company specializing in semi-dedicated hosting solutions for enterprise customers.
Justin graduated from SMU in 2004 with a Bachelor of Arts from the Temerlin Advertising Institute with a double focus in Design and Management (the only SMU student ever to do so). After graduation, he received an eMBA from the SMU Cox Business Institute, an intense, 6-month crash course affectionately nicknamed, “Business Bootcamp.”
Justin is an internationally certified sailor, a journeyman blacksmith, a licensed bartender, an accomplished pool player, and a poor (but improving) golfer. He loves technology, science, art and craft beer.
