For years, we’ve been offering 30-days of free support to our clients after we complete a web project.  Clients loved it, but we couldn’t figure out how to price ongoing support AFTER those 30 days were up.  So, I asked JDM President, Justin Downey, how he thought we should handle it.

Here’s how that conversation went…

ME: How should we charge for this?  What structure?  Do we need to track each and every requested edit and charge accordingly?  What if a client doesn’t buy support until AFTER something’s gone wrong?!

JUSTIN: $38 a month, billed quarterly.

ME: Where did you come up with that number?

JUSTIN: Running through every support project we’ve ever done in my head and multiplying it by the probability…

ME: You made it up–didn’t you.

JUSTIN: Yes.  Yes, I did.

So, to keep things as simple as possible, JDM is now offering what we call Premium Support for $38 per month, billed quarterly for  unlimited support tickets.

Once purchased, clients receive:

  • Upgraded security for their website for protection
  • Preventative maintenance like updates, upgrades, etc.
  • Automated monitoring for things like up-time, security scanning, etc.
  • Help with small changes, if needed
  • Fixing any accidental site breaking (things happen)
  • Performance improvements (if possible)
  • Full access to our Support Site
  • and more.

Qualification

JDM will not support any website we didn’t build.   So, this offer is really just for current and former JDM clients.
