The File Transfer Protocol (or FTP) is a standard network protocol used for the transfer of computer files from a server to a client using the Client–server model on a computer network.
The first FTP client applications were command-line, but thankfully most people now use a more graphical FTP client. Perhaps our favorite is the free and open source FTP client, FileZilla.
FileZilla is fast and reliable for cross-platform FTP, FTPS and SFTP client with lots of useful features and an intuitive graphical user interface.
Among others, the features of FileZilla include the following:
- Easy to use

- Powerful Site Manager and transfer queue
