Copywriting may not be fine art—but there is an art to creating successful copy. Laurie’s clever, concise, and insightful writing makes the difference between a campaign that looks great (but gets tossed) and one that demands attention, compels the user to take action, and generates results.
Laurie graduated from UNT with a BFA in Communication Design and a Minor in English. After working as a designer for nearly five years, she discovered how much she enjoyed copywriting and concepting as part of the process.
In 2007, she started Rare Type, a freelance copywriting company serving the DFW metroplex and beyond.
