A proud and self-proclaimed grammar nerd, Dylan has a genuine disdain for poor grammar, weak diction, and especially run-on sentences. When he’s not out on the golf course or at the local pub; he (was) here at JDM making the world of marketing copy more legible, one well-crafted sentence at a time.
Dylan graduated with a B.A. in Advertising from Texas Tech University last May. During his stint in Lubbock, he was active in many student organizations. He was active in the Greek system, the Texas Tech chapter of the American Advertising Federation, and most relevantly: Texas Tech’s student-run Infinity Advertising, which represented Tech in the 2012 National Student Advertising Competition (NSAC).
Accomplishments
Made a real-life, actual hole-in-one (160 yards, over a water hazard… no big deal).
Won third place at AAF’s 10th District 2012 NSAC in Shreveport. Celebrated like he’d won first. Still doesn’t understand craps.
While still in high school, he created a corporate logo that’s still in use today.
Aspirations
To write and publish a book that people actually want to read. None of this, “I’m a professor, buy my book or you’ll fail,” nonsense.
To manage the brand of a Fortune 500 company that he truly, deeply, 100% believes in, admires, and loves.
To achieve and maintain a golf handicap lower than 10. A 10 handicap says, “Yeah, I’m good at golf. But it’s not my life.”
